Transformational Gifts

For nearly a millennium, St Albans School has stood as a place of learning, discovery, and purpose, a school where young people have found not only knowledge, but the confidence and character to shape the world around them.

Generations of pupils have walked through our gates, inspired by teachers who believed in them, friendships that sustained them, and opportunities that changed their lives forever.

Now, we have the chance to open that same door for others, bright, deserving children who have the talent and determination, but not the means, to join this community.

By 2026, we aim increase our bursary programme to welcome fifteen new bursary pupils, each supported throughout their full journey at St Albans School. Every bursary is a life transformed: a child’s future reimagined through the power of opportunity.

Transforming Futures, One Child at a Time

A bursary is not just a place at school. It is a turning point, a moment when potential meets possibility.

For one young person, it means the chance to learn without limits; to be challenged, encouraged, and believed in. It means finding a voice, discovering purpose, and realising that who they are, and who they can become, matters.

The ripple effects extend far beyond our walls. Many of our bursary pupils go on to serve their communities, lead in their professions, and in time, support others as they were once supported. Their stories remind us that education is one of the most powerful forces for change in the world.

St Albans School helped me discover who I was and who I wanted to become. The lessons and values I gained there have stayed with me every step of the way. I want to help another young person experience that same life-changing journey.”

Our Goal: 15 Life-Changing Bursaries on offer for September 2026

To achieve this vision, we are inviting a small group of visionary supporters to join us in creating a life-changing opportunity.

Each bursary can fully support a child’s education, covering tuition and a supplementary fund for uniforms, coaches, and lunches; all they need to take part in every aspect of school life.

By supporting a bursary, you give more than education. You give hope, direction, and the belief that every child deserves the chance to realise their full potential.

Support a bursary. Transform a life. Inspire the future.
