Transport and Bus Routes

We are a city school located in the heart of St Albans, ideally situated for Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North London familes.

Our extensive coach service of 13 routes brings pupils to St Albans School, and 12 routes return pupils home at 4pm. There are also 8 late coach routes that leave at 6pm everyday following after-school activtities.

We take pride in ensuring our school buses run smoothly, punctually and above all, safely. The following routes are currently available for travel to and from the School:

Cuffley, Dunstable/Markyate/Redbourn, Enfield/Hadley Wood, Hatch End/Stanmore, Hertford, Hitchin, Luton/Harpenden,  Mill Hill, Northwood, Watford - Route 1, Watford - Route 2, Wheathampstead and Whetstone.

Current daily charges are between £10.49 - £13.15, depending on the route. These are paid termly and included in the fees bill. For more information about our coach routes and a cost breakdown for your route, please contact the Bursary Secretary.

St Albans is well served by bus routes and we are a short walk to and from St Albans City Station.
