Safeguarding

The School’s responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of pupils is of paramount importance. All Governors, staff and volunteers have responsibility for the implementation of this policy. As a Charity we recognise that we have a wider duty to ensure that others who come into contact with the School do not, as a result, suffer harm.

We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where pupils are respected and valued. In all our actions we will consider what is in the best interest of the child.

The School aims to promote good behaviour amongst all of its pupils, with support, encouragement and guidance from all staff.

As part of a happy and positive community, we expect all pupils to be diligent, honest and considerate in their relationships with others and we expect staff to treat pupils with kindness and fairness. In so doing we aim to create an environment in which all members of the School community can thrive and feel respected and valued.
