Co-curricular programme

At St Albans School we offer enormous choice and opportunity for pupils to develop their talents, skills and interests outside the classroom.

Our rich co-curricular programme plays a vital role in developing values, skills and qualities in preparation for adult life with a wide range of opportunities on offer everyday inside and outside the classroom - all intended to provide pupils with an outstanding, holistic education.

With 200 clubs and societies available there are many possibilities for pupils to excel in the range of clubs and activities available to them everyday either at lunch break or after School.

There is no better way of spending time with peers than doing something together that you all enjoy. Not only are there vital social and intellectual benefits to engaging in group-based activities, but the memories created will last a lifetime.

Click on the link below to view our booklet outlining the broad and varied range of co-curricular activities on offer - regardless of what you enjoy doing or where your skills lie, there is something for everyone!

"We routinely visit schools with mind-blowing lists of clubs and societies but rarely have we been somewhere where the energetic engagement with – and participation in – said list is so palpable."
