Alumni

We offer life-long support to our global alumni community.

We are immensely proud of our Old Albanians, or OAs, and enjoy hearing how they continue to excel in their careers and communities by creating positive change all over the world. When a pupil leave the School, they become part of an inspired network of over 8,500 alumni, and the benefits of that connection last a lifetime. We are delighted to frequently welcome back our OAs to speak to pupils – with at least one OA in School each week.

For our OAs, in addition to events, we offer the opportunity to reconnect, network, grow and give back. We hope our OAs will stay engaged with St Albans School and make the most of a dynamic and inclusive OA community.

As a member of our alumni community, OAs have access to a variety of resources and opportunities to stay involved. Here are some of the benefits:

  • Connect with fellow alumni: Our community provides a platform to connect with other alumni from School, no matter where you are in the world. OAs can share news and updates, catch up with old friends and make new connections.  
  • Career services: Our alumni community offers resources to help advance careers, such as OA to OA mentoring and networking events. 
  • Volunteer opportunities: OAs can give back to the School by volunteering to give a talk to current pupils. 
  • Events: We organise events throughout the year, both virtual and in-person, to bring our alumni community together.  
  • Alumni benefits: Our community offers exclusive benefits and discounts to OAs, such as access to the School gym and school merchandise.  
  • Explore St Albans School and OA history: Learn about past OAs, St Albans School Heritage and explore the Gateway. 

Keeping in touch

The School publishes a bi-annual magazine, Versa, and regular e-bulletins. OAs can be added to our mailing list for these publications by contacting the Development Office or updating details on OA Connect. Members also receive invitations to OA events and reunions.
