The fourth annual SASFE conference takes place on Saturday 18 May and will explore ‘Engagement’ in education. The conference will be fostering a warm, engaging and friendly atmosphere. Conversations and ideas can therefore develop throughout the day with plenty of time set aside over coffee and lunch. We are a strictly not-for-profit conference, ticket prices are stunningly low with an early bird offer at £27 until 31 March 2019 and £30 thereafter. This includes on-site parking, refreshments and lunch, in addition to the high quality CPD from actual classroom teachers and school leaders.

A variety of teachers from the state and independent sectors will be speaking and leading seminars. Three keynotes are delivered during the day and we are delighted to confirm the following keynote speakers for 2019:

  • Adrian Dougherty, Director of Partnerships at the Chartered College of Teaching.
  • Dr Bernard Trafford, Headmaster for 28 years, former Chair of HMC, writer for the TES.
  • Jonnie Noakes and Iro Konstantinou, Director of Teaching and Learning, and Researcher in Residence at Eton College.

Seminar leaders include: Ritchie Gale, Duncan Sleaford, Daniel Sabato, Allana Gay, Dr Greg Hacksley.
