The School is delighted to announce the return of our highly anticipated Sports Tours’ fundraising dinner. This annual event is returning in March for its 27th instalment, bringing with it an impressive line-up of speakers. We look forward to welcoming World Cup winning England rugby union and league international, Jason Robinson, as our celebrity speaker. Our guest of honour is Paralympian, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, who now sits in the House of Lords and is an entertaining after dinner speaker. Ensuring that the evening runs smoothly is our Master of Ceremonies, former England World Cup winner, Kyran Bracken.
This event is organised by our Sports Tours’ Fundraising Committee, who exist to raise funds to send St Albans School pupils to destinations far and wide to experience sporting, cultural and educational opportunities through the medium of sporting competition. The break in touring for the past two years has provided an opportunity to reset our plans and we look forward to getting these back underway for pupils to benefit from in the coming years.
The Sports Tours’ Dinner will be held on Friday 25 March at the Woollams Pavilion from 6.30pm to 11.30pm. Tickets are priced at £90 per person or £85 per person if a table of eight or more is purchased (if money is received at the time of application). Tables of eight, ten or twelve are available. Tickets may also be purchased individually.
