On 15 December evening, the School held its annual Christmas Carol Service. One of the highlights of the year, staff, pupils, OAs and their families come together at St Albans Cathedral to delight in the sounds of a selection of readings and carols. The Service opened with Once in a Royal David’s City, performed by the School choir. The service continued including readings and poems from the Headmaster, the Head of School, Deputy Head of School, OA’s, and the Reverend Canon amongst others. Intermittently, the Choir and congregation joined in for some beautiful Carols such as O Come, O Come Emmanuel, Silent Night, O little Town of Bethlehem, Hark! The Herald-Angels Sing, and O Come All Ye Faithful. To close the service, the Reverend Canon gave the Blessing, and a collection was held in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People. It was wonderful to be able to host this event again, and congratulations to all involved!
