Last week, over four consecutive evenings, pupils put on enthralling and engaging performances of the musical gangster comedy, Bugsy Malone, by Alan Parker. With an entertaining script packed with fun, the incredibly talented cast of 40 pupils transported audiences back to the 1920s.
The cast, band and crew, made up entirely of students, worked tirelessly to get the show up and running. They invited the audience to pull up a chair at ‘Fat Sam’s Grand Slam Speakeasy’ for an evening of dancing, singing and a touch of gangland warfare and splurge guns. All four evenings saw fine performances from the cast and were a hit with each evening’s audience.
